Knights

We’ve had plenty of success on the ground this month due to the persistent dull weather. Jace Clarke passed his Human Performance exam, Rowland Slatter his Navigation exam and both John Allen and Clive Haughton achieving their Air Law exam. Congratulations to all of you! All on a bit of a roll with the new changes coming in from September.

PPL’s have also been making the most of the breaks in the weather with Chris Greenhalgh making successful trips to Welshpool and Kemble, Adam Knights flew to Oxford and Ian Hollingsworth to Duxford and Welshpool.

We’ve finally managed to pin down Kathryn and Steve whilst they’re in the country and book a date for Staverton Flying Schools Summer BBQ. Please join us for free food and drinks Saturday 6th July, 7pm until late, partners welcome! RSVP info@stavertonflyingschool.co.uk

We would also like to invite you to join us for a fly away day to Duxford on Sunday 21st July (with a back-up of Sunday 4th August). Where you can also visit the Imperial War Museum, which is home to over two hundred aircraft!

If you are interested in flying or just being a passenger please let us know in the office as there will be limited places available. For more information on timings, costs etc contact the School and for more information on the museum you can visit the website http://www.iwm.org.uk/visits/iwm-duxford

Staverton Flying School has now set up its on Facebook page. Like our page, posts photos of your trips and help us tell people about the school.

June is set to be a busy month with trial lessons and students with aims to finish their PPL’s by the end of the summer, we’re all ready for some improved weather now!
