Terms and Conditions

Bookings
Please call the school on 01452 712388 to arrange a time for your trial flight. We respectfully request that
you arrive approximately 5 minutes before the time of your lesson to allow for form filling.

Please ensure that you present your trial flight voucher on arrival, failure to present the voucher may
result in your flight being cancelled.

Safety
Light aircraft have weight limitations so if you are over 15 stones (210 lbs, 95 kilos) please mention this
when you phone to book your flight. We do not accept children under the age of 14 years.

Ladies, if you are flying, please wear trousers rather than a skirt and flat shoes. Clothing made of natural
fabrics are recommended for everyone.

All trial lesson passengers should ensure that they are in good health and if in doubt should seek the
medical advice of their GP before flying.

The Captain of the aircraft can, at his/her discretion can refuse entry to the aircraft for any reason. We
advise that passengers refrain from taking alcohol or any drugs within 24 hours of the period prior to
flight.

Validity Period
The trial lesson voucher is valid for five months from the date of purchase. Vouchers not booked within
the validity period will be subject to a surcharge. In the event that a flight was booked within the four
month period but cancelled due to poor weather conditions an extension may be granted.

Weather Conditions & Timings
Customers are requested to phone on the day of their flight to ensure that the flight can go ahead as
planned and to avoid a wasted journey to the airfield. If your flight is cancelled we will work with you to
arrange a suitable alternative. Please remember that any flying operation can be cancelled at short notice
due to unexpected weather or other factors. Unfortunately, there may be occasions where a flight will be
cancelled after you arrive, we appreciate this can be inconvenient but we will not endanger customers
by attempting to fly them in unsuitable conditions. Staverton Flying School is not responsible for any
expenses incurred in the event of a flight cancellation.

Photography & Accompanying Guests
You and your guests are welcome to take photographs but it is essential that, when you fly, the camera
has a wrist or neck strap as it can be very dangerous to drop articles in the cockpit when flying.

Please also note that children must not be left unsupervised anywhere on the airfield or in the school.
